The Experimental Self: Edvard Munch’s Photography brings the photographic work of the master painter to New York City for its first showing in the U.S. Internationally celebrated for his paintings, prints, and watercolors, Norwegian artist Edvard Munch (1863–1944) also took photographs. “Spotlight on Still Life”, curated by artist Ann Marie McDonnell, presents photography from the faculty and students of Curtis High School who were part of an educational program that focuses on the history of the still-life genre through painting and photography, as well as contemporary approaches.
