A People’s Guide to the History in the Time of Here and Now is a play about a Muslim-American student Jennah who has just transferred to a small Michigan high school. During the weeks immediately following the 2016 election, she struggles to find her place as she engages in a battle of wills against a popular History and Civics teacher. Free. RSVP.

White Wave Holiday Party and Silent Auction, 100 Jay Street PH #32D, 6pm – 9pm

Dance company White Wave hosts a holiday party and silent auction to raise funds for its new studio and theater space in Dumbo. White Wave will perform an excerpt from “iyouuswe,” which previously made an appearance at the La Mama Moves! Festival.
