Performances by Reenactment artists Maria Hupfield and Alicia Grullón, followed by a discussion moderated by Harry Weil, Manger of Programs at Green-Wood Cemetery. Electric Prop and Hum Freestyle Variations Studio is a twenty-minute performance piece by Hupfield, presented in collaboration with fellow BRICworkspace artist-in-residence, Tusia Dabrowska. Antigone in Parkchester is a free, interactive performance of scenes from Sophocles’ Antigone, an ancient play about a woman who decides to honor her brother and disobey the state, presented in English with Bengali interpretation.
