Celebrate the winter solstice with an immersive soundwalk along the High Line. Participants become performers as footsteps get turned into sounds, creating a collective, whimsical music piece including twinkling metallic sounds, electric guitar chords, dulcimer notes, and water splashes. Join this unique yoga experience with an individual practice done in a group setting. This class will use  “Sound Off” wireless glowing headphones — which lets you hear the teacher’s voice at the perfect level, while completely immersing you in movement and music. This wonderful session will begin with an open meditation then move into a long vinyasa. A 45-foot Christmas tree just south of the Washington Square Arch will be lit for the holidays. To celebrate the occasion, the Rob Susman Brass Quartet will perform holiday songs. Santa Claus is also expected to appear, with candy canes in hand.
