THINGS TO DO

All Is Forgiven: A Non-Religious Comedy Show about Religion, QED – Queens, 7:30pm – 9pm

Want to confess? If not, how about hearing others do it on stage? Join some of New York’s best performers and storytellers for a comedy show about how belief runs deep in everyone’s lives. Folks divulge personal anecdotes about the impact of religion on their lives. This show is not aimed at converting, convincing, or destroying, just relating. Whether it’s positive, negative, or somewhere in between (purgatory?) this is a show for anyone who wants some catharsis in a world where everything you do seems wrong. $10.

Truth Serum, QED – Queens, 9pm – 10:30pm

Truth Serum, a late night talk show turned podcast, is back for an interactive wild spectacular. There will be guests, prizes, drinking games, and more. With Stand Up by Nicco Aeed and Mamoudou N’Diaye. Sketch Performance by Face for Radio. Hosted by Zoe Yellen. $7.

Good Riddance Day, Broadway between 45th and 46th Street, Dec. 28 (Thurs), 12pm – 1pm

Say goodbye to your unwanted memories of 2017 at the annual Good Riddance Day, which was taken from a Latin American tradition in which New Year’s revelers stuffed dolls with objects representing bad memories before setting them on fire. Destroy any unpleasant, embarrassing, and downright unwanted memories from the past year – be it a remnant of your ex, a paid medical bill or old study guides for your most onerous class. Registering for this event will automatically enter you in for a chance to win a Google Home speaker. Also, the first 50 people in attendance will receive a $5 Starbucks gift card. Free. RSVP.
