Cheer on runners as they work their way through a 26.2-mile course. The race starts in Staten Island and ends in Central Park.

Bed Stuy Art Stroll, Various locations, 1pm – 6pm

Bed Stuy Arts Stroll is an art series developed and organized by Bed Stuy galleries and art spaces on the First Sundays year-round. The self guided stroll starts at Calabar Gallery at 351 Tompkins Avenue. Free. RSVP.

The White Dress, The American Theatre of Actors, Inc. – Hell’s Kitchen, 2pm – 4pm

The White Dress is a coming-of-age story which experiments with form, melding language, music, and movement to explore the lives of people from various gender identities, expressions and sexual orientations. The showcase will be directed and choreographed by Adin Walker (Pin and the Blue Fairy as part of the Drama League Artist-in-Residence at Dixon Place, Rent and Singin’ in the Rain at McCarter Theater). $10.

BEE, HB Studio – Greenwich Village, 7:30pm

BEE is a play about Izat, a young Iranian girl trapped in an abusive marriage in the 1940’s. After years of suffering both physically and mentally at the hands of her spouse, she knows the only way she will survive is if she is able to leave him. In an unprecedented move, her father is able to use his influence to secure a divorce for her. The story intertwines with interviews from immigrants who have had to make the difficult choice of leaving their homeland because their survival was at stake.
