West Side County Fair, Pier I in Riverside Park South, West 70th Street – UWS, 1pm – 6pm

Enjoy a full day of county fair magic in Manhattan with live bands, sideshow performers, carnival rides and games, local food and merchandise vendors, cotton candy, Grow NYC Stop ‘N’ Swap, and more! Featuring performances by Miller and the Other Sinners, Coyote & Crow, City Stompers and Bindlestiff Family Cirkus. Hosted by Ambrose Martos. Free.

Washington Square Park Folk Festival, Garibaldi Plaza in Washington Square Park, 1pm – 5pm

Come celebrate the folk culture of Greenwich Village at the 8th annual Washington Square Park Folk Festival. The festival celebrates the history of folk music performance and culture in NYC, where the genre was born in the 1940s. Following the tradition of the seven past folk festivals, the event will close with a community square dance. Free.

Smorgasburg Prospect Park, Breeze Hill in Prospect Park – Brooklyn, 11am – 6pm

Smorgasburg, the celebrated open-air food fair presented by Brooklyn Flea, returns to Prospect Park this spring! Over 100 local and regional food purveyors will gather to offer a range of cuisines. Free.
