SHAME! Or The Doomsday Machine, Garibaldi Plaza in Washington Square Park, 2pm – 3pm

As part of their Street Theater program, the Theater for the New City is presenting “SHAME! Or The Doomsday Machine,” written and directed by Theater for the New City co-founder, artistic director and OBIE award-winning actress, Crystal Field. Free.

Rockaway Beach Super Boardwalk Street Fair, Beach 86th Street and Shorefront Parkway in Rockaway Beach and Boardwalk – Queens, 10am – 6pm
Craft and gift vendors sell handmade and handpicked items. Free.

Performing Arts Salon Saturdays: Phys. Ed. B, Building G, G 201 Dance Studio in Snug Harbor Cultural Center – Staten Island, 6pm – 8:30pm

Referencing the typical exercises and pillars of its namesake, Jerron Herman’s Phys. Ed. B will explore physical education through a revisionist lens and interpret unearthed movements from a hip, disabled body. Jerron Herman is an interdisciplinary artist, currently a principal member of Heidi Latsky Dance where he is also the development director. $10.

Bryant Park Shakespeare: Macbeth, Upper Terrace in Bryant Park, 7pm – 9pm

A “Gangs of New York”-styled Macbeth, set in the mid-1800s when early settlers fought for turf in the infamous Five Points area. Watch this full production of the famous play, produced by the Drilling Company. Free.
