New York Euripides Summer Festival Presents ‘Suppliants,’ The East River Park Amphitheater in John V. Lindsay East River Park – LES, 6pm – 7:30pm

Enjoy a fully-staged production of Suppliants by the American Thymele Theatre. Suppliants follows widows and children of war victims who go to Eleusis, near Athens, to seek justice and permission to bury their dead heroes. Free.

The Winter’s Tale – South Brooklyn Shakepeare, Washington Park Field in J.J. Byrne Playground – Brooklyn, 8pm – 10pm

Bring a blanket and join the fourth annual summer performances by the South Brooklyn Shakespeare at Washington Park Field. Directed by Elizabeth Sutton-Stone. Free.
