REVOLVER and Adidas Skateboarding have teamed up to throw an epic Das Days Block Party, featuring live performances by Beach Fossils, Nothing, Sheer Mag and Dark Thoughts as well as live skating demos by Adidas skate team riders. Free.

Hester Street Fair’s Total Independence BBQ, The intersection of Hester and Essex Streets – LES, 11am – 6pm

Feel free to fly your flag (no matter where you’re from) at the third annual Total Independence Day BBQ in the park! The Board of Elections will be on hand making sure you’re ready to flex your civic duty, and Hester Street will be donating a portion of the day’s proceeds to RAICES, the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services, in support of migrant families. Vendors include Alpas, Beba’s Kitchen, Pilot Kombucha, Tribeca Trinkets, Vagaband Kitchen, FLOATER LONER ALIEN STRANGER and Gigi’s Mimos. Free.

Antigone, Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park – Harlem, 8:30pm – 9:40pm

Classical Theatre of Harlem’s Antigone is an Afropunk inspired work featuring a defiant woman who challenges patriarchal society. Free.

Silent Disco, Pier I in Riverside Park South, West 70th Street – UWS, 5:30pm – 10:30pm

Don headphones and party on the pier with hundreds of all-ages revelers at this Quiet Clubbing event featuring two live DJs spinning tunes of different genres. Switch DJs with a flick of a switch and sway along to the same song as your friends or tap to your own tune. Free.

Hudson Warehouse Presents: The Classics – The Three Musketeers: 20 Years Later, Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument in Riverside Park, West 89th Street and Riverside Drive – UWS, 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Hudson Warehouse presents a production of The Three Musketeers: 20 Years Later written by Susane Lee. Adapted from the classic by Alexandre Dumas, Hudson Warehouse is the first to ever adapt and produce The Three Musketeers: 20 Years Later for the stage. This is the second in a four-year series of Alexandre Dumas Classics. Free.

Afraid of the Dark?  Join a costumed interpreter and venture into a new historic house every night after museum hours. Listen to a mystery, story or legend on a tour lit only by candlelight. $10.

The Amateur Astronomers Association and stargazing return to Riverside Park South. A summer evening in Manhattan is made complete with a great skyline and the stars, planets, and moon in full view. Free.
