Join Kayak Staten Island for free public kayaking off the shore at Conference House Park. Boats and life jackets will be provided for a short paddle. Wear clothes and shoes that can get wet. Free.

Hudson Warehouse Presents the Classics: Romeo and Juliet, Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument in Riverside Park, West 89th Street and Riverside Drive – UWS, 6:30pm – 9pm

Hudson Warehouse Kicks off their 15th anniversary season with the most famous love story of all time, Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, starring company members Patrick Harman and Patrina Caruana, directed by Nicholas Martin-Smith. Free.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream imagines New Yorkers – the buskers, the lovers, the neighbors, the leaders – as the wild and magical spirits of Shakespeare’s classic comedy. Free.

Smorgasburg Prospect Park, Breeze Hill in Prospect Park – Brooklyn, 11am – 6pm

Smorgasburg, the celebrated open-air food fair presented by Brooklyn Flea, returns to Prospect Park this spring! Over 100 local and regional food purveyors will gather to offer a range of cuisines. Free.

Harlem Meer Performance Festival, Charles A. Dana Discovery Center in Central Park, 110th Street between Lenox Avenue and Fifth Avenue – Harlem, 2pm – 4pm

The 25th annual Harlem Meer Performance Festival brings the best local talent to Central Park. Featuring a mix of jazz, blues, bluegrass, rockabilly, rock and roll and country from the Ebony Hillbillies. Free.

Tango in the Park, West Fountain in Stuyvesant Square, 6pm – 9pm

Enjoy a wonderful evening of music, dance, and song in the historic Stuyvesant Square. Professional tango instruction will be provided. This event will take place in six sessions on Sunday. Free.

Kayaking and Canoeing, Hallet’s Cove, 31-10 Vernon Blvd – Queens, 1pm – 4pm
