“Baadasssss” is an American biopic written and directed by Mario Van Peebles. The film is based on the struggles of Van Peebles’ father Melvin Van Peebles as he attempts to film and distribute Sweet Sweetback’s Baadasssss Song, a film that is widely credited for influencing the creation of the Blaxploitation genre. Enjoy pre-show music of Earth, Wind and Fire as interpreted by artists such as Bruce “Big Daddy” Wayne, Keith Anthony Fluitt, Rachel Walker and Barry Antione. Free.
