Monotony: A Smart Comedy Show about Stupid Stuff, CAVEAT, 21 A Clinton Street – LES, 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Monotony! is the only show that dares let your favorite comedians and storytellers go deep on their weird obsessions with seemingly boring things. Their passion and (lets face it) disturbing breadth of knowledge on topics like The Science of Urinal Cakes and The History of the Rubber Duck will leave you laughing — and possibly leaving with a brand new obsession of your own.

Game on! This classic game of chance goes outside for play in the park. Comedian Andy Ross hosts with music by DJ Flip Bundlez. Free to play with prizes for every win.

Everybody Tango!, On the Pier in West Harlem Piers, West 125 Street, 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Enjoy introductory Argentine Tango lessons, music, and dancing in the open air.  Lessons are held at 6:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. with social dance time between lessons. Free.

New York Philharmonic Concert in the Park, 193rd Street Field in Cunningham Park – Queens, 8pm – 9:30pm
The New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks , presented by Didi and Oscar Schafer, have become an iconic New York summer experience since it began in 1965. The program includes Saint-Saëns (Bacchanale from Samson and Delilah), Jordan Millar (Boogie Down Uptown), Camryn Cowan (Harlem Shake), Bernstein (Three Dance Episodes from On the Town), Rimsky-Korsakov (Scheherazade).
