This summer, NY Classical Theatre will bring to life one of Shakespeare’s most well known tragedies in a dynamic adaptation of Romeo & Juliet. Six actors will play all the roles in this fast-paced tour de force production. Free. RSVP.

Join the Bryant Park Reading Room Poetry Series. This week’s program is produced in partnership with Ravenna Press. Featuring poets Joanna Penn Cooper, Jefferson Navicky, Anne Lovering Rounds, and Joannie Stangeland. Free.

Stargazing, The High Line at 14th Street – Chelsea, 6:45pm – 9:30pm

Head to the High Line for a walk along the park and a chance to take a closer look at the stars. Peer through high-powered telescopes provided by members of the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York to see rare celestial sights. Free.

New York Philharmonic Concert in the Park, Parade Ground in Van Cortlandt Park – Bronx, 8pm – 9:30pm
The New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks , presented by Didi and Oscar Schafer, have become an iconic New York summer experience since it began in 1965. The program includes Saint-Saëns (Bacchanale from Samson and Delilah), Jordan Millar (Boogie Down Uptown), Camryn Cowan (Harlem Shake), Bernstein (Three Dance Episodes from On the Town), Rimsky-Korsakov (Scheherazade). Conductor: James Gaffigan. There will be fireworks following the performance. Free.

Part bar-room trivia, part drinking game, and part comedy show—the Sloshed SATs are a great way to unwind after a long day and tackle the Standardized Test of your nightmares. Are you an incredible test taker? Or do you crack under pressure? Well, this is your chance to relive the most stressful day of high school in a fun, supportive and totally sloshed environment.

Work as an individual or as a team to answer real SAT questions proctored by host and comedian Michael Wolf and John Reynolds (Search Party, Stranger Things). Whether you’ve got something to prove or you just want to see how much you remember from high school—come have a drink, take a test, and don’t forget your number 2 pencil. $8.
