Stargazing, The High Line at 14th Street – Chelsea, 6:45pm – 9:30pm

Head to the High Line for a walk along the park and a chance to take a closer look at the stars. Peer through high-powered telescopes provided by members of the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York to see rare celestial sights. Free.

Every Now and Then I Fall Apart: A Karaoke Reading Series, QED – Queens, 7pm – 9pm

A reading series that is about (and actually is) karaoke. Every month 3-4 writers will each read a piece about a song—its place in their lives and/or in their karaoke sets—and then perform that song as karaoke. After the readings, members of the audience will have the opportunity to sing karaoke themselves. $6.
