Student poets share their work at the 16th annual citywide Poem in Your Pocket Day. Free.

Mekong Arts and Music (MAM) will be teaching a beginner’s course of Dan Tranh, a 16-string Vietnamese zither. Free.

Beekeeping: An Introduction, St. John Cantius Parish – Brooklyn, 5:30pm – 7pm

Curious about what it takes to keep honey bees in your community garden? Join longtime beekeeping experts and community gardeners Gemma Garcia and Brenda Thompson-Duchene for an introduction to the world of bees and learn about what it takes to be a beekeeper. Free.

Truth Serum, QED – Queens, April 26 (Thurs.), 9pm – 10:30pm

Every 4th Thursday of the month, you can catch host Zoe Yellen with three of her most daring friends completing outlandish tasks and answering trivia questions. Stand up by Alex Fossella, Yaari Tal and Julian Williams. Featuring contestants Shannon Burke, Orli Matlow and Suzanna Ramos. $7.

Everything is Falling Apart is a live talk show including a mix of standup and storytelling themed to the title and features a special guest interviewed, by comedian and host Molly McGaughey, over a game of Jenga. As soon as the tower falls, the interview is over.
