Vogue Balls are a space for queer and trans people of color. You may know about Vogue from Madonna, but it has roots in the historically marginalised urban black and Latino gay and trans communities. Featuring DJ Mike Q and special guests. $10.

Although we’ve yet to find life beyond Earth, we continue to search for it every single day. But, what exactly are we searching for? And since the Universe is so big, where should we look first? Find out in this presentation by Jaclyn Avidon, former Board member of the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York and NASA Fellow. The event ends with a skygazing session at the rooftop. Free. Missing Stories Exhibition Opening, Consulate General of Hungary – UES, 6:30pm – 8:30pm

Missing Stories is an exhibition presenting ten stories of struggle and survival in Hungary during the Shoah. Hungary had lost over 500 thousand souls in the Shoah, and many others were forced to escape. Photographer Ildi Hermann reached out to Hungarian Jewish Holocaust survivors living in today’s New York and their descendants. Through their eyes, her exhibition sheds light on the darkest days of history and the losses suffered individually, as families, as communities, and as a nation. Free. RSVP.
