Come Together: Music Festival and Label Market, MoMA PS1 – Queens, 12pm – 9pm

MoMA PS1 and iconic record shop Other Music have teamed up to present the second annual Come Together: Music Festival and Label Market, offering live performances, films, workshops, and panels that celebrate the interactive ecosystem of local and international music communities, along with a label market. Featuring performances by Vagabon, Hailu Mergia, Dead Moon and the New York premiere of documentary The Potential of Noise. $10 – $15.

Winter Workspace Open Studios, Wave Hill – Bronx, 12pm – 3:30pm

Glyndor Gallery is transformed again into studio spaces for artists to develop new work and offer opportunities for public interaction in the context of the garden. Individual artists share their studio practice with the public on this open studios day. This year’s Session 2 artists are Michele Brody, Tamara Kostianovsky, Athena LaTocha, Maika’i Tubbs, Ashton Agbomenou and Yelaine Rodriguez. Free with admission to the grounds. Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for students and seniors, $2 for children.

Bring clean, reusable, portable items such as clothing, housewares, games, books, & toys that you no longer need, and take home something new-to-you, free. You don’t have to bring something to take something.
