A Celebration of Women’s Skateboarding Open Skate and Concert, House of Vans – Brooklyn, 8:30pm

House of Vans Brooklyn will host workshops dedicated to women and girls to learn how to build a skate deck with private skate lessons with Vans global skate team athlete, Lizzie Armanto alongside Vans Brand Ambassador, Atita Verghese. The event will also feature a performance by Nashville punks Bully. Free. RSVP.

New York Night Train, Home Sweet Home – LES, 10:30pm – 4am

Get your kicks every Friday in the cozy subterranean confines of Home Sweet Home at New York Night Train’s legendary Shakin’ All Over Under Sideways Down fiesta! DJ Jonathan Toubin will play 1950s/1960s “maximum rock’n’soul” vinyl turning ’round and ’round ’til the wee wee hours. Free.
