Michael Thurber in Transit, Marcus Garvey Park – Harlem, 6:30pm – 8pm

This is a musical variety show led by composer and bassist Michael Thurber. The show features a broad array of genres and performers from diverse musical backgrounds. From rappers to classical violinists to Broadway vocalists to rock guitarists to jazz saxophonists to sitar players and everything in between, the audience will experience culture-crossing collaborations in a casual, entertaining format. Live Dubbed Sitcoms, created by comedian Jo Firestone, is now in its fifth year. Join comedians Evan Altshuler, Zach Cherry, Becky Chicoine, Megan Doherty, Dan Glaser, Keaton Patti and Alexis Pereira as they improvise new dialogue over muted episodes of your favorite sitcoms. $5.

Join an early hours exclusive private viewing of Michelangelo: Divine Draftsman and Designer followed by discussions by Carmen C. Bambach, Curator of Italian and Spanish Drawings, about the exhibition and Ashley Dunn, Assistant Curator of French 19th-century Drawings and Prints, about Rodin at The Met. The event will be followed by a conversation with the audience.
