Arts, Culture and Fun: Day of the Dead, Virginia Park – Bronx, 6pm – 8pm

Celebrate the Mexican tradition, Day of the Dead, by creating paper flowers, face painting, and book binding while enjoying Mexican music. With a performance by Mascara Viva. Free.

WBO Haunted House, Williamsbridge Oval – Bronx, 7pm – 9pm

Be prepared to be scared! Venture through the Haunted House , where you are likely to run into zombies, ghosts, vampires, and spiders. Make sure you are ready to scream. Free.

Halloween Movie Night, Ocean Breeze Park – Staten Island, 6pm – 11pm

Join a family friendly movie night featuring Toy Story’s Tower of Terror beginning at 6:00 p.m. After the children’s movie showing, Ocean Breeze will be showing “The Shining” for adults at 8:00pm.

The Time of Your Life, The Lee Strasburg Theatre and Film – East Village, 7:30pm – 10pm

The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and NYU Tisch School of the Arts stages The Time of Your Life, William Saroyan’s Pulitzer Prize-winning five-act play. Directed by Daniel Winerman. $10 general admission, $5 students and alumni.

The New Moose Masquerade Ball, C’mon Everybody – Brooklyn, 8pm – 10:30pm

The New Moose Masquerade Ball –a raucous Halloween show complete with a costume contest, book giveaways, and great music– returns for it’s 4th year, featuring sets by Evelyn, Curry Puffs, and The Moose Masquerade Orchestra covering The Rolling Stones’ 1968 album “Beggars Banquet” in full. All profits will be donated to The Octavia Project, a Brooklyn-based charity empowering young women through science & technology, $8 – $10.
